This is my personal site, somewhere for me to show the world what I have previously designed and made but also a place that I use to show pictures I have taken in the Gallery section. (Currently not available due to some technical issues, but wil be back soon)

I currently live in Germany, but work full time as the Head of Product Design for MotionTouch who are based in the UK.

This involves managing a team of anywhere up to eight designers (each generally working on seperate projects) and knowing what they are doing, where they are with their current projects and giving design and functionality guidance along the way so that we achieve the best designs possible from a "Form follows Function" start to end.

I will also be working on my own design projects when possible, as well as ensuring all the designs get released 100% ready for both prototyping and manufacture at their relevant stages, whilst working closely with the clients by releasing regular design updates and ensuring the designs match their specifications and visions.

At the same time I work closely with other members of the MotionTouch team in the UK, Poland & China, especially for multi discipline projects (such as where Electronics are involved) and for when any of our design projects go into production.

Our tool of choice is Solidworks 2009 as well as still producing hand drawn concepts, with prototyping being an essential part in every project.

I have also been known to design & make furniture, but alas no more as I no longer have a workshop (and have a full time job!), but if you like something send me an email anyway.

And in another guise, I have also been known as a bit of a web designer, mainly working for small companies, developing their early stage websites so they get a web presence. Some examples are found here: webdesign. These days its just really this site though.
